In the Sunday agroclassic, during which we conduct the annual evaluation of the forestry sector, the producer and entrepreneur in the forestry sector expressed that the main limitation in the sector is the access to credits that match the needs of the segment, as the products of the Development Finance Agency (AFD) and the banks are still not very clear because they require another type of guarantee to finance the forestry project. “There are small producers of 300, 500, and 1000 hectares, we ourselves are managing three projects, which we are trying to start with AFD credits specifically in the forestry line,” he noted.
