AFA projects strong investments in bioethanol to supply its new Abu Dhabi partners, but needs visible changes

It had already been in the air. But Gonzalo del Piano, general manager of Agricultores Federados Argentinos (AFA), gave details in recent hours about the cooperative company's strategy to advance in the biofuels market. This same week AFA announced the signing of an agreement with ADNOC Global Trading, one of the main oil traders in the world, belonging to an energy group that is 100% owned by the Government of Abu Dhabi, in the United Arab Emirates. This alliance, as the executive explained, seeks to explore the supply of bioethanol for that region, which would be an important step for the transnationalization of the company.
