African swine fever affects the Italian pork exports

For the time being, this concerns China, Japan and Taiwan. Switzerland has also imposed restrictions on the import of pork products from Italy. Italy is not a major exporter of pork to third countries in terms of volume within the European Union. In 2020, 147,487 tons were sold outside the European Union.
