In 2024, the Altai Krai region experienced a growth in its agricultural shipments, with a 3.0% increase in grain and leguminous crops, totaling 2,437.9 thousand tons. This includes a 2.7% rise in oilseeds and fruits shipments, led by a 3.1% increase in sunflower seeds. Potato sales surged by 12.7% to 49.2 thousand tons, despite a 7.0% decrease in vegetable shipments. The region also saw an increase in egg production by 4.9%, with the main contribution coming from industrial poultry farms such as Komsomolskaya, Yeniseiskaya, and Molodezhnaya. Additionally, there was a slight increase in milk sales and a 2.3% increase in livestock and poultry sales. This growth is attributed to the implementation of new technologies by agricultural organizations.
