The Agriculture, Food, and Rural Affairs Technology Planning and Evaluation Institute in Korea is working on improving the quality of Korean beef for export and increasing exports. Due to the conclusion of various FTAs and a decline in production prices, the domestic consumption market for beef has decreased. To address this issue, the Korean Beef Export Research Group has been launched to support research and develop new export markets. In addition, the institute has developed technology and products, such as a vacuum shrink film and an ICT Data Logger, to maintain the quality of Korean beef during the export process.
