Engineer Ali Soliman, Director of Agricultural Extension in Port Said, held a field day for the sugar beet crop within the activities of the Technology Transfer Component Program in the agricultural sector in Port Said for the winter agricultural season, in the Reclamation Sector in Port Said, under the directives of Dr. Dr. Hosni Attia, Director General of Agriculture in Port Said, inspected a number of farmers’ fields. The area planted with the beet crop in the agricultural sector has so far reached 33,913 acres and 18 carats, compared to the area cultivated in the previous season, which was 31,500 acres.
