High prices for services and food continue to squeeze the pockets of Brazilian consumers over the past 12 months. According to the latest data from the IPCA (National Consumer Prices Index), the country's official inflation rate, airfare, gambling, and public transportation are among the main culprits of inflation. Among the highlights, airfare has accumulated a 23.65% increase over the period, reflecting higher operating costs and the dynamics of supply and demand in the sector. Gambling has risen 15.17%, maintaining the trend of pressure in this segment. The transportation group also appears among the main impacts.
