Algeria promotes sustainable olive oil production

Olimerca.- Develop a modern and sustainable olive oil production chain in Algeria, based on international standards. This is the objective of the Agricultural Support Program (PASA), in which thousands of olive growers from the north of the country participate and cover nearly 130,000 hectares of olive groves. The program, promoted by the Algerian government that has received funding from the European Union and French and German public entities, focuses on water management and limiting the environmental impact of olive cultivation, as published by Olive Oil Times.
