According to Extenda data, Andalusia once again led national exports of fruit and vegetables during the first seven months of 2022, with sales of 4,648 million euros, 44% national, and reaching a record figure, which represents 9, 4% more than in the same period of the previous year. This is so, once again, thanks to the muscle of Almería, which accounts for more than half of the international sales achieved by Andalusia in the first half of the year. Of the total Andalusian exports, more than half come from the Almeria province (51%), which adds up to an amount of 2,347 million euros, a figure that represents an increase of 15% compared to the same period in 2021.
