Inspectors from the Regional Food Safety Directorate in Vratsa and officers from the Economic Police Department conducted a joint inspection following a tip-off to the Bulgarian Food Safety Agency about an illegal dairy production facility in Vratsa, the BFSA press center reported. During the on-site inspection, it was determined that the facility was engaged in unregulated production and sale of dairy products, as it was not registered under the Food Act. Equipment intended for the production of dairy products was found on site, confirming the existence of unregulated production activities. Immediate administrative measures were taken for the identified violations.
