The protected horticultural sector of Almería enters the final phase of the autumn-winter production cycle, in a transition context characterized by the progressive decrease in marketed volumes, greater heterogeneity in the quality of productions, and the gradual entry of spring productions, both of national origin and from countries in central and northern Europe. During week 14, a generalized decrease in the quotations of the main horticultural products has been observed. This evolution responds, fundamentally, to an increase in the available supply, especially of international origin, as well as to a lower intensity of demand in European markets after the Easter holiday.
