Russia aims to bolster its domestic seed industry and mushroom cultivation by 2025, as part of a broader strategy to enhance agricultural production and security, according to State Duma deputy Andrey Anikeyev. This strategy is aligned with the country's 20 national projects, aimed at improving quality of life and sovereignty. Anikeyev has played a key role in legislative improvements to support the agro-industrial complex, including over 30 amendments to bills on agriculture, seed production, and organic products. He also stresses the importance of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in achieving food security and village development, highlighting the need for digital services and new technologies in the agro-industrial sector.
