Argentine yerba mate: Sales volume abroad registered year-on-year growth

The Argentine yerba mate sector experienced an increase in volume in its exports during the first seven months of 2024, reaching 23,021,870 kilograms sent abroad. This volume, supported by an unprecedented harvest that exceeded 739,160 tons of green leaf, places the country in a privileged position within agro-industrial foreign trade. The information came from the July report published by the National Institute of Yerba Mate (INYM), which indicates that yerba mate exports during that month reached 2,270,591 kilograms, a figure that adds to the total of 23,021,870 kilograms exported between January and July.
