South Korea has become the second largest export market for Vietnamese fruits due to supply issues from South America and the Middle East. Additionally, strong demand for durian in China is boosting Vietnam's fruit and vegetable exports, with further growth potential if frozen durian export licenses are secured. The Vietnam Fruit and Vegetable Association expects favorable conditions in 2024, driven by increased production and expanded planting areas. Despite challenges in European and American markets, significant growth is anticipated in Australian and Asian markets, with total exports projected to reach US$7 billion this year.
