At Field Day: Regional Government and INIA Carillanca assess the associative work

10 Apr, 2026 Uncategorized More than a hundred farmers, professionals, and agricultural technicians gathered for the field day organized by the Regional Government of La Araucanía, INIA Carillanca, and with the support of the municipality of Padre Las Casas. An initiative developed in the Maquehue sector, at the demonstration unit of the Cooperativa Los Robles, who are part of the GORE-INIA Araucanía Asociativa program, and whose objective was to deliver learning about strawberry cultivation. The event was attended by Dr. Fernando Ortega, Regional Director of INIA Carillanca; the head of the Direction of Promotion and Industries (DIFOI) of the Regional Government, and Gabriel Mercado, Director of Economic and Local Development (DIDEL) of Padre Las Casas, who from their different perspectives valued the work that the program carries out with the cooperatives, in 25 communes of the region.
