Auctions for rice have a good initial response in the South

The entity highlights the good participation of producers and processors in the auctions of Pepro and PEP and directs attention to the new round scheduled for this Wednesday, December 24. The Federation of Rice Growers Associations of Rio Grande do Sul (Federarroz) considered the auctions of the Product Flow Premium (PEP) and the Equalization Premium Paid to the Rural Producer (Pepro) carried out by the National Supply Company (Conab) on this Tuesday, December 23, to be a success. The auctions were announced by the Federal government in support of the marketing and flow of rice from the 2024/2025 harvest. The president of Federarroz, Denis Dias Nunes, states that the success is especially due to taking into account the short period available for the organization of the auctions.
