Work on the first 1,180 heads under Halal Rite for the Middle East market has been completed.

The province of Entre Ríos has sealed the operational stage of a sheep meat export that marks a turning point for the sector. The process consisted of the slaughter of 1,180 animals, both sheep and lambs, from fields in Concordia and Gualeguay. The activity was concentrated in the facilities of Frigorífico Argentina Alimentos, where the international standards required for consumption in the Middle East were met. The logistical scheme, coordinated by the operator Tomás Pirán, already has an execution date: the first container will leave on January 6, 2026, from the Port of Buenos Aires with destination to the Sultanate of Oman. The operation is governed under the Halal Rite, an indispensable certification for entry into Arab markets, which required rigorous technical traceability from origin to final packaging.
