AXA Climate and FNPFruits unveil the results of their study on the impact of climate change on fruit production in France

By 2030, average temperatures could increase by 1.5°C, the number of heat waves could quadruple and droughts will be twice as frequent. It is in this context that the National Federation of Fruit Producers commissioned AXA Climate to assess the impacts of climate change on 16 fruit crops in France (apples, pears, peaches, nectarines, apricots, cherries, plums, walnuts, hazelnuts, almonds, raspberries, blueberries, blackcurrants, currants, kiwis and table grapes), in 25 departments, thus representing 76% of production areas.
