The price of meat in Santa Fe ended the year with strong increases, but the beef industry anticipates that the short-term scenario shows signs of stabilization and even a possible seasonal drop during January with some factors they have listed. This was stated in a dialogue with UNO Santa Fe by the representative of the Santa Fe Chamber of Slaughterhouses, Antonio D’Angelo, when analyzing the recent evolution of prices and the outlook for the beginning of 2026. According to data from the Institute for the Promotion of Argentine Vaccinated Beef (IPCVA), in November the price of meat registered monthly increases of between 8% and 8.5% nationwide, while the year-on-year variation exceeded 70 percentage points, reflecting a year of strong inflationary pressure on the product.
