Belgium is the leader in Turkey's anchovy exports

Eastern Black Sea Exporters' Association (DKİB) Vice Chairman of the Board Ahmet Hamdi Gürdoğan said that 337 tons of anchovy were exported from Turkey in the 2 months of the year. Stating that 1 million 663 thousand 26 dollars were obtained from the said exports, Gürdoğan noted that the highest amount of foreign sales was made to Belgium. Gürdoğan stated that Belgium, which sold anchovy for 566 thousand 872 dollars in this period, was followed by France and the USA. Pointing out that Spain was the country that increased its exports the most during the said period, Gürdoğan stated that anchovies were sold to Italy, Kenya and Syria in two months of the year, unlike the same period last year.
