Belgium: Big plus for eggplant price in Easter week

Easter purchases were made eagerly last week. This resulted in solid prices on the clock in Flanders. If you take stock at the end of the week and look at the average prices, you will mainly see increased lettuce and aubergine prices at the Association of Belgian Horticultural Cooperatives (VBT) compared to week 14. The aubergine price closed week 15 with a kilo price of 1.62 euros. In week 14 this was still 1.077 euros. The cucumber price, which had significant spikes halfway through last week, will eventually come to a unit price of just under 75 euro cents. One cent more than in week 14.
