High-yielding "Beefmaster" calves, created by crossing embryos from South Texas with "Limousines", have turned one year old in Turkey. This marks the first time that embryos of the Beefmaster breed have been brought to the country, with a total of seven healthy births occurring so far. The breed is known for its resistance to diseases and ability to thrive in harsh climates, making it a valuable addition to Turkey's cattle industry.
