The result is only behind the record obtained in the second half of 2024, when production reached 2.73 million tons. "The performance of the sector confirms the consolidation of the activity and maintains the pace of expansion of recent years," pointed out the analysts from Deral. The production was the result of the slaughter of 29.2 million animals, the second highest volume in the series.
