The article highlights the recognition of Maués' guarana fruit, locally known as a symbol of wisdom, with the Geographical Indication (GI) seal by Brazil's National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI) since 2018. This indication signifies the product's quality and is supported by the region's rural population and city consumers.
