Brazil plans to export 3 million tons of beef in 2030

After the record of 2.3 million tons of beef exported in 2022, projections indicate that Brazil would surpass the 3 million mark between 2025 and 2030. This was stated by the Brazilian Association of Meat Exporters (Abiec). The association indicated that with the 2.3 million tons of bovine meat shipped in 2022, Brazil ended that year as the world's largest beef exporter. This volume is 22.6% higher than that registered in 2021 of 1.8 million tons. In addition, Abisec data showed that revenue from these sales increased by 40.8% between January and December 2022 compared to the same period in 2021. They now project exports to exceed the 3 million tonne mark between 2025 and 2030.
