The Brazilian Association of Meat Exporters (Abiec) predicts that Brazil's beef exports will surpass 3 million tons between 2025 and 2030, following a record of 2.3 million tons in 2022 and a 22.6% increase from 2021. This growth is supported by the quality of Brazilian beef and the country's trading position. In 2022, China was the main buyer, accounting for 40% of exports. To meet future demand, Brazil needs to increase meat production by 35% and improve average productivity by 45% by 2030.
