The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) predicts that Brazil's beef production will increase to 10.570 million tons in 2023, up from 10.350 million tons in 2022. This is expected to be achieved by slaughtering 43.420 million cattle, a slight increase from the 42.250 million slaughtered in 2022. The country's beef exports are projected to rise to 3.012 million tons in 2023, while domestic consumption is expected to reach 7.594 million tons, a slight increase from the previous year.
