In September 2025, Brazilian agribusiness reached the highest export value for the month since the beginning of the historical series, totaling US$ 14.95 billion, an increase of 6.1% compared to September 2024. According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (Mapa), the sector accounted for 49% of all exports from the country, mainly driven by a 7.4% increase in shipped volumes, despite a slight 1.1% decline in average international prices. From January to September, exports from the sector totaled US$ 126.6 billion, with imports registering an increase of 7.3% in September and 5.4% for the year to date. The Brazilian agribusiness surplus already exceeds US$ 111 billion in 2025, contributing to the balance of the country's external accounts.
