In July, Brazil's poultry exports saw a decrease of 5.7% in volume and 25% in revenue year-on-year, totaling 364,600 tonnes and $498.2 million respectively, as reported by the Brazilian Animal Protein Association (ABPA). Despite the year-on-year decline, the first seven months of the year showed a slight increase in export volume by 0.5% to 2.471 million tonnes, while revenue fell by 11.4% to $3.642 billion. Asia, led by China, emerged as the primary market, with a 12.7% increase in sales. However, exports to the Arab countries, especially Saudi Arabia and the UAE, saw a decrease. Libya, Bahrain, Jordan, Egypt, and Qatar experienced significant growth in poultry imports from Brazil.
