In February 2023, Brazil's pork exports saw a 10% increase in volume and a 25.4% increase in turnover compared to the same period in 2022, totaling 78.6 thousand tons and 184.9 million USD. The first two months of 2023 witnessed a 14.9% rise in volume and a 28.9% rise in turnover, reaching 167.9 thousand tons and 397.3 million USD. The Brazilian Meat Association (ABPA) anticipates a growth of over 10% for the whole of 2023. China is the largest pork import market for Brazil, followed by Hong Kong and Chile, with significant growth observed in exports to China and Chile in the first two months of 2023.
