In the first two months of 2021, Ukraine experienced a significant decrease in the production of bread and bakery products. The State Statistics Service reported a 7.4% drop, with wheat bread production down by 9% and wheat rye by 7.8%. Flour production also saw a dramatic decrease of 32%. Furthermore, the production of various flour products such as sweet cookies, butter pastries, cakes, and confectionery also declined, with pasta production experiencing a slight decrease of 1.6%.
