The Fish Breeding Research Institute (BRPI) has developed superior hybrid gouramy seeds through cross-breeding majalengka female gourami and jambi male gourami. These seeds, which were given to villages in Banyumas Regency, are expected to increase community welfare by reducing the maintenance time for gouramy culture. The institute will provide technology assistance and consultation to fish farmers online, with direct assistance from fisheries extension workers. This collaboration with the Office of Fisheries and Animal Husbandry of Banyumas Regency is part of the initiative to establish the Superior Gurami Innovation Village.
