By 2028, Ukraine's agricultural sector will transition to EU standards

Ukraine has committed to fully synchronizing agricultural production with European Union rules by the end of 2028. This was reported by the Ministry of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture of Ukraine. This step will not only open the doors for agricultural producers to the Eurobloc market but also enhance control over the use of pesticides and animal husbandry. Deputy Minister of Economy Taras Vysotskyi outlined the clear boundaries of this process. "We will make every effort to complete all necessary tasks by 2028. The volume of work is truly significant, and the timeframe is tight, but there is no alternative to this path: either Ukraine systematically undergoes the adaptation process or it loses opportunities for further expansion of access to the EU market," Vysotskyi noted.
