Cabbage and kohlrabi on sale from April 25 in Poland

This year's harvest of cruciferous vegetables from under the low tunnels in the Igołomi region began in the last days of April. This is confirmed by Paweł Firydus, who grows vegetables on an area of approximately 11 hectares in the village of Wroniec near Igołomia. According to the producer, this year's demand for early cruciferous vegetables and the price level are satisfactory. One of the reasons for this situation is probably the lack of imports of cabbage from southern Europe, which negatively affected the market of early vegetables from this region last season. Cabbage for early harvesting from under the tunnels The first crop to be sold from our farm this season is Ranini F1 (Bejo) white cabbage - as of May 13, almost 80% of this variety's yield was cut. This season was delayed by almost two weeks compared to last year, but on April 25 we were cutting the heads of the Ranini variety weighing about 0.9-1.2 kg.
