Carambola cultivation in Brazil, especially in the interior of São Paulo, has seen success due to the country's tropical climate. A farm in Mirandópolis has seen an increase in production from 200 kilos to 250 kilos per plant per year, attributed to the switch from chemical to organic fertilizers and favorable weather conditions. The carambolas, sold locally and to Ceagesp in São Paulo for distribution, are currently fetching double the price from previous harvests due to their larger size and better appearance.
