Carp has become more expensive this year, because the prices of various products necessary for breeding, e.g. feed, fuel or energy, have increased. The second reason is weather conditions. The spring was cold, and this is not conducive to the growth of fish and the carp caught are smaller than in warm years - said Zbigniew Szczepański, president of the Society for the Promotion of Fish "Pan Karp". Cereals, which are the basic food for fish, became much more expensive in the spring, after the Russian aggression in Ukraine.
