On 10 December, in celebration of the 63rd National Plantation Day (Harbunnas) 2020, Semarang Agricultural Quarantine and the Central Java Provincial Plantation Service successfully exported 30 tons of white konjac to Vietnam, valued at Rp600 million. This event, attended by key officials and representatives, highlights Indonesia's resilient agricultural sector, especially the plantation sub-sector, which is making a significant contribution to the nation's economy during the Covid-19 pandemic. The plantation sub-sector has been a key driver of Indonesia's positive GDP growth in the third quarter, with a 28.59% contribution. The Minister of Agriculture has set a goal to increase agricultural exports threefold and emphasized the importance of collaboration and support to achieve this target.
