With widespread periodic precipitation and temperature fluctuations in sugar beet crops, primarily in the forest-steppe and Polish regions, by 10-38, a maximum of 75%, damage to plants by cercosporosis, which covered 3-20% of plants (plantations in Vinnytsia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv, Rivne, Ternopil, Khmelnytskyi, Chernihiv regions). At the same time, 12-65% of the beet area is affected by powdery mildew, fomosis, peronosporosis, ramulariosis, viral jaundice and mosaic. Diseases of root crops, in particular scab, tail rot, hollowness affected 0.5-2% of plants in Vinnytsia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Ternopil and Khmelnytsky regions.
