Cheese pulls down the dairy market in Brazil

The price of cheese pulled down the reference value of milk - an index used to serve as a basis for negotiations between producers and the industry. The mozzarella, the dish and the provolone, which had already suffered devaluation in January, returned to oscillate downwards in the February partial (until the 17th). The market dynamics was presented during a meeting of the Paraná Milk Producers / Industries Council (Conseleite-PR), held this Tuesday (23), by videoconference. The board approved the projected reference value of R $ 1.5765, for standard milk delivered in February, to be paid in March - a decrease of 5.9%. The board also approved the consolidated reference value of R $ 1.6737 for milk delivered in January and paid in February - 9.1% decrease, compared to the previous survey.
