The Chungbuk Agricultural Research and Development Institute in South Korea has developed six new agricultural products, including a high-yield sorghum and a new variety of garlic, which are attracting interest as a new source of income for farmers. These products, which also include bellflower, mushrooms, roses, and hawthorn flowers, are registered with the National Seed Resources and are in the process of being patented. The institute has signed a license agreement with three companies to expand the cultivation of the high-yield sorghum.
