In the latest edition of the Fruit Bulletin, it is stated that during the period January-April 2022 a total of fruit exports of 1 million 482 thousand tons are registered, for a value of USD 3,682 million FOB, (the sales values are subject to adjustments by IVV1). Compared to the same period of the previous year, there is an increase of 2% in the volume exported, and 4.5% in value. Of this total in value, 87% corresponds to fresh fruit, 11.9% to processed fruit (juices, oils, preserves, frozen, dehydrated), and 1.1% to nuts (walnuts, almonds, hazelnuts, among others) . The fresh fruit reaches sales of 1 million 299 thousand tons, equivalent to USD 3,203 million FOB during the period January-April 2022. These exports register an increase in volume of 5%, and in value of 5% compared to the same period of the previous year .
