The Brazilian Association of Animal Protein (ABPA) has reported a rise in chicken meat exports, reaching 379.2 thousand tons in February 2023, a 1.3% increase from the previous year. Revenue for these exports also saw an 11.1% increase, totaling US$736.3 million. From January to February 2023, chicken meat exports increased by 10.6%, totaling 800.1 thousand tons, with a significant 24.5% increase in revenue, reaching US$1.593 billion. China remains the primary market for these exports, followed by Saudi Arabia, South Africa, and the European Union, marking a trend of increasing demand for Brazilian chicken meat in these markets.
