Brazil: Chicken meat shipments maintained good performance in the third week of February

In the third week of February (12 to 18, five working days) 107,488 tons were exported, which meant average daily shipments close to 21,500 tons and an accumulated total (13 working days) of approximately 248 thousand tons. Hence the current daily average – 19,061 tons/day, volume 7.91% and 6.70% higher than the daily averages of last January and February 2022. It's just a pity – as has been said before – that the month is shorter. But even if the current projection - around 362 thousand tons in the month - leads to a lower result than last January (almost 390 thousand tons of in natura product), the expectation of annual expansion prevails (339 thousand tons a year ago).
