Despite these slight negative fluctuations, the average exports for the year have seen a slight increase of 0.8% compared to 2023. China remains the main destination for these exports, with a 29% decrease in imports in the first half of 2024 compared to the same period last year. Other significant importers include the United Arab Emirates, Japan, and Saudi Arabia. Paraná continues to be the main exporter of chicken meat, with a slight decrease in exports compared to 2023, while Santa Catarina has seen a increase in exports.
