Akmola region is the leader in the production of fresh or chilled poultry meat: 35.2 thousand tons. East Kazakhstan and Almaty regions are on the second and third lines. In general, in 2021, the country produced 112.5 thousand tons of fresh or chilled and 127 thousand tons of frozen poultry meat, plus 20.5% and plus 13.8%, respectively. The share of imports, respectively, amounted to 30.8%. Kazakhstan imported 84.9 thousand tons of "white" meat and offal, which is 6% less than last year. At the same time, 8.7 thousand tons of meat were exported, minus the immediately noticeable 55.6%.
