The Table Grape Committee of the Association of Fruit Exporters of Chile (ASOEX) has predicted a slight decrease in table grape exports for the 2022-2023 season, projecting a 9.7% decrease from the previous campaign, totaling 67.1 million boxes. This estimate also reveals a notable shift towards new varieties, which are expected to make up 54% of the total exports. Additionally, the season is set to see significant exports of black, white, and red grapes, with new red, white, and black grape varieties also expected to play a major role in the industry's exports, showcasing a trend towards innovation and quality improvement in Chile's grape industry.
