In the 2023/24 season, Chile saw a significant increase in fruit exports, with China and the United States being the largest markets. Exports to China reached US$3.33 billion, largely due to cherries, while the US received exports valued at US$2.1 billion, mainly grapes and blueberries. Overall, fresh fruit exports amounted to US$6.76 billion, a 16.3% increase from the previous year, with grapes and cherries being the highest contributors. Dried fruit exports, however, saw a decrease in both value and volume. Meanwhile, frozen fruit exports to the US increased by 91.2% in volume and 98.3% in value.
