Despite a decrease in bottled wine exports in June, Chile's total exports experienced a 9.6% increase in volume and 2.4% increase in value from January to June compared to the same period last year, with a total of 21.9 million boxes shipped and US$597 million in revenue. However, the 12-month analysis showed a decrease in both volume and value. The average price per box also decreased by 6.6% in the first half of the year. The main export destinations, such as Brazil and China, saw a decrease, while Japan, Canada, and Mexico experienced an increase. The price segment between US$50 and US$60 per case saw a 35% increase, but other segments experienced decreases. Over 4.9 million exports of wines over US$40 per box were made, with a value of US$365 million, despite a decrease in China's sales and an increase in Brazil's sales.
