PANCHAGARH, June 3, 2021 (BSS) – The farmers of the district are happy over bumper chilli yield and fair price of their produce this year. Now, green chilli is being sold at Tk 900 to 1000 per mound in the local markets. A farmer can produce at least 25-30 maund chilli from one bigha of land. Traders from different parts of the country come there to buy chilli and supply to different places including Dhaka. Farmers have started harvesting green chilli from the first week of May and it will continue till July.
