China sharply reduced grain imports from the US in June

Compared to May 2025, US grain supplies to China fell fourfold, and compared to June 2024, when China spent $369.5 million on US grain, the drop was almost 500 times. Due to such a sharp decline in import volumes, the US was only in 15th place among the largest grain exporters to China. The leaders in grain supplies in June were Australia (46% of the total), Canada (25%) and Myanmar (7%), which significantly outpaced American suppliers.
