Colombia's grain production saw a significant decrease in December, with a 29% drop, and a 12% decrease for the year, attributed to excessive rainfall due to the La Niña phenomenon. The National Federation of Coffee Growers of Colombia reported an 11.6% decrease in coffee production in 2022, totaling almost 11.1 million 60-kilogram bags, compared to the nearly 12.6 million bags in 2021. Additionally, coffee exports fell by 8% in 2022, reaching just over 11.4 million bags, a decrease from the over 12.4 million bags exported in 2021.
